Welcome to the Whitehall Community Blog.

You are going to comment on this article by going through a few simple steps.

Read through these steps so you know what to expect.

  1. Click on the grey “comment” word at the bottom of this article. It might say “no comments” or “3 comments,” but regardless of the number, that is where you click.
  2.  The screen will change to the comment page, and you will be able to read the original post, with whatever comments have been made by community members listed in order below the main post.
  3. At the bottom of the existing comments, you will be asked to enter your email address and your user name. No one will be able to see your email address, but the world will be able to see whatever user name you choose to enter, along with your comment.
  4. Enter the information, then enter your comment. You will have to read and enter two provided security words that change frequently. Click “submit” and now you are finished. Everyone who accesses the blog will be able to see what you wrote, immediately.

I see that the wordpress people who manage the blog have added some anti-spam measures so automated resposens can’t be entered.

The “captcha” technology ensures that an actual human, not a machine, is typing the comment, so you will have to enter the two funny-looking words in the white box.
