Community Transition Advisory Team (CTAC)

Mission Statement
CTAC is a coalition of interested area stakeholders with the primary purpose of sustaining ongoing mining operations at the Golden Sunlight Mine (GSM) near Whitehall, Montana. The secondary purpose is to mitigate the area economic impact that will occur from an eventual mine closure by aggressively recruiting and expanding business development at the mine site. The measure of success will be the cooperative efforts of the GSM leadership and area stakeholders in fostering economic development that creates new jobs and tax base that contributes to the overall quality of life of the surrounding area.

The group has been meeting for five years and all minutes are on the JLDC website. CTAC was started by JLDC as a community committee.
